-sp, -lt, -ld, -lf, -pt, -sk, -ft

List One: sand, wept, gulf, whisk, best, lift, runt, camp, quilt, crisp

                                       List Two: dentist, interest, attempt, comprehend, harvest, contest, difficult, intelligent, corrupt, present

High Frequency Words for all students: have, make,were, there, just

5 words to be determined by the pattern of the week

Please check your child's blue folder to see which list to study. Words were sent home Friday!

Homework:

Monday:  20 minutes of reading for reading log

                 Write a sentence for each spelling word 1-10 on your list: pencil only, neatly done, quality!

Sentence must be at least five words and some  meaning of the word can be determined by your sentence.

Homework must be done on notebook paper with a pencil.  Students are to put their name and number in the upper right corner.  They know the procedure for this!

                 Do you know the meaning of each word?  Use a dictionary and show your parents what we've been learning about the dictionary.

Tuesday: 20 minutes of reading for reading log

                 Xtra Math addition, or flashcard practice

Wednesday: 20 minutes of reading for reading log

                     Xtra Math additio, or flashcard practice

Thursday: 20 minutes of reading for reading log

Dear Parents,

We have 5 bathroom/water breaks daily.  Also, there is a clean water fountain in our class that students are welcome to use during the day.  I make sure to keep it and the sink clean.  Our lunch time is still 11:50 and recess has been moved to before recess and not after recess.  Have a great weekend!

I love this precious class, they are so smart and sweet.  Lots of talkers, but super sweet:)
