Snack Mom Schedule

Spelling Pattern:  Consonant Digraphs-two consonant letters paired together to make a new sound

List One:

 ship,choke,bath,shake,Christmas,thump,lunch,thunder,trash,what

                

 List Two: 

shackle,establish,chapter,sandwich,chemistry,whispered,chocolate,
chameleon,thimble,whistle

High Frequency Words for all students:

with,was,after,very,than

5 words to be determined by the spelling pattern of the week

Students have not studied these words.  I call them "Mystery Words."

Homework: No homework means no recess.

Monday:  20 minutes of reading for reading log, ready for the folder on Monday!

Write a sentence for each spelling word 1-10 your list.

Sentence must be at least five words and some  meaning of the word can be determined by your sentence.

Homework must be done on notebook paper with a pencil.  Students are to put their name and number in the upper right corner.  They know the procedure for this! Not splashed across the top, please.

 Make sure you know the meaning of your words 1-10.  We may have a pop vocabulary quiz at the end of the week.  :)

Tuesday:  20 minutes of reading for reading log

Worksheet, language arts will be sent as an attachment in parent email

Wednesday: 20 minutes of reading for reading log

Thursday: 20 minutes of reading for reading log

Please continue to use XtraMath when time allows.  I have moved students to subtraction!

Khan Academy:  You may begin using Kan Academy.  I have no real directions for this, so use it as you see your child needs practice or extra support.

DASH- Friday, October 21.
Our class goal is:  Seventy percent (13 students) of our class will have 2, or more, sponsors for the DASH.

Mom can be sponsor number one and dad can be sponsor number two.Help us meet our goal!
